Measurement notes

Visibility compares Nushama’s appearance rate across a consistent set of patient prompts monitored on ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity over roughly ten weeks. Paid-spend and revenue outcomes come from business reporting for the same engagement period.

01

Paid acquisition was getting more expensive as discovery moved elsewhere.

Nushama operates clinics providing medically supervised psychedelic treatments for mental wellness. Patients often spend months comparing therapies, providers and locations before booking.

Search and social ads had historically driven patient acquisition, but the economics were deteriorating. At the same time, AI assistants were becoming a meaningful research channel, and the clinics appearing first in those answers were gaining an early advantage.

02

Turn four-platform monitoring into a weekly publishing rhythm.

Matt, Martin and the team monitored patient prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, then ranked opportunities by demand, competitive exposure and revenue relevance.

The operating rhythm was simple: data on Monday, decisions by midweek and content live by Friday. Each page answered a real patient question with clear authorship, structured FAQs and locally relevant authority signals.

  • Identified high-demand prompts by procedure and clinic market
  • Flagged local categories where no provider owned the AI answer
  • Built prioritized biweekly action plans with Nushama’s marketing team
  • Measured citation movement within each prompt cycle
03

Higher visibility, lower acquisition costs and record revenue.

Nushama’s AI visibility increased from 14.9% to 33.5% in roughly ten weeks. The brand became the third most cited in its category, behind only Reddit and the National Institutes of Health in the tracked dataset.

The business cut monthly paid digital spend by 50% while recording its highest month of Spravato revenue. In priority markets, Nushama appeared in as many as 81% of tracked answers for relevant therapy prompts.

This content velocity would have been impossible without Matt, Martin and the team monitoring prompts across all four AI platforms.
