Customer story

How Phoenix grew weight-loss AI visibility 11.5× in 95 days.

Phoenix entered a competitive treatment category with strong clinical credibility but almost no presence in unbranded AI answers. A focused GEO and content program changed that in one quarter.

Measurement notes

Measured across a consistent set of unbranded weight-loss prompts on four AI platforms during the 95-day engagement. Visibility compares Phoenix’s appearance rate at the start and end of the tracked period; citations count appearances of cited Phoenix URLs in the same dataset.

01

A credible brand was missing from a fast-growing category.

Phoenix is a Canadian digital health platform connecting patients with licensed providers across men’s health, hair loss, sexual health and weight management. The company had established authority in several categories, but weight-loss treatment was new territory.

At the start of the program, Phoenix appeared in only 2.2% of unbranded weight-loss prompts. Patients were increasingly asking AI assistants to shortlist clinics and explain treatment options, so being absent from those answers meant being absent from consideration.

02

Find the exposed prompts, then build what deserves the citation.

Matt Bogoroch, Martin Cheung and the senior team ran biweekly strategy sessions with Phoenix and translated prompt-level visibility data into a prioritized weekly action plan.

The team produced citation-ready articles with clear authorship, structured answers to real patient questions and the authority signals search engines and AI systems rely on. One comprehensive guide to medically supervised weight loss became the anchor asset.

  • Mapped unbranded patient questions across major AI platforms
  • Prioritized prompts with high demand and low Phoenix visibility
  • Created a flagship guide supported by a broader content cluster
  • Measured citation gains prompt by prompt and adjusted the plan biweekly
03

From 2.2% to 25.4% visibility in 95 days.

Phoenix became one of the three most discoverable Canadian telehealth providers in the tracked category. A single flagship article earned more than 300 citations across four AI platforms—more than twenty times the citation output of an average supporting article.

On the prompt “Looking for a weight loss doctor online in Canada,” Phoenix moved from no visibility to 53.6%. The program created a citation footprint that can continue compounding as the category grows.
